COVID-19 PROTOCOL

Due to the increased travel risks presented by the global COVID-19 pandemic, TRIPSYAWAY is working with its partners under the guidance of global health authorities, including WHO, the Italian Ministry of Health and public health experts, to implement standards for land transport.

PASSENGER REQUIREMENTS:

Personal health / well-being

TRIPSYAWAY does not currently require proof of vaccination to travel with us at this time.
Passengers should not travel if they have a body temperature above 36.9 degrees or if they have symptoms that can be traced back to those of COVID-19.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)

Passengers MUST wear a Ministry of Health approved face cover when traveling with TRIPSYAWAY;
TRIPSYAWAY will provide a Ministry of Health approved surgical mask or other approved face cover if the passenger does not have one.
TRIPSYAWAY reserves the right to refuse the service if passengers do not comply with current regulations.


SOCIAL DISTANCE

TRIPSYAWAY will not seat passengers in the front seat next to drivers on any type of vehicle.
Please note that seat capacities may vary due to spacing requirements.

DRIVERS – HEALTH AND HYGIENE

PERSONAL HEALTH

Drivers should not show up for work if they have a body temperature above 36.9 degrees or if they have symptoms that can be traced back to those of COVID-19.
All employees and drivers must complete the daily health monitoring questionnaire before starting their shift.
All TRIPSYAWAY drivers are encouraged and incentivized to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
Due to various privacy laws, drivers and employees are not required to disclose their vaccination status
TRIPSYAWAY drivers must always wear PPE recommended by the Italian Ministry of Health and have a supply of sealed masks for passengers in the car.
Each vehicle must be equipped with hand sanitizer approved by the Italian Ministry of Health available for passengers.
TRIPSYAWAY drivers must wash their hands between each service

TEST PROTOCOLS AND QUARANTINE

TRIPSYAWAY follows the quarantine and test procedures established by the Italian Ministry of Health
TRIPSYAWAY drivers complete a mandatory daily health monitoring questionnaire by assessing:
– Measurement of body temperature
– Advice on covid-19 symptoms
– Possible news of exposure to COVID-19.
In the event of a positive test result, TRIPSYAWAY will follow the protocol of the Italian Ministry of Health on quarantine currently in force and in any case:
Immediate stop of the driver or employee of the service;
Immediate disinfection and deep cleaning of vehicles, equipment or workstations;
Immediate contact tracing in the event of a positive test.
Drivers and employees can return to work once a quarantine protocol is completed.

SERVICE STANDARD

SOCIAL DISTANCE

Drivers must keep a distance of 1.5 m from the passenger outside the vehicle;
The drivers will not shake hands and will avoid any physical contact with the passenger;
Drivers will ask the passenger for permission before helping with bags and luggage.

Air circulation

All vehicles must set AC / heat circulation to use outside air; TRIPSYAWAY drivers do not use recirculating air.
Drivers will keep at least one window slightly open at all times to improve air circulation.

Services and comfort

TRIPSYAWAY will provide hand sanitizer or disinfectant wipes to all passengers;
TRIPSYAWAY will also provide surgical masks approved by the Italian Ministry of Health to passengers in case of need.

CLEANING AND DISINFECTION STANDARDS

Daily commercial treatment of vehicles with disinfectant certified by the Italian Ministry of Health;
Each vehicle will be physically inspected at least once every seven days.


SPACING PROCEDURES

TRIPSYAWAY will not allow passengers to be seated in the front seat next to the driver of any type of vehicle.
